As an Environment Artist on The Mandalorian Season 3, I contributed to the creation of cinematic-quality 3D environments for various planetary locations and scenes throughout the season.

Key responsibilities included:

Modeling environments based on concept art and production needs, ensuring alignment with the show's visual style.

Look development in collaboration with the Art Director to match the gritty, photorealistic tone of the Star Wars universe.

Texture creation, blending custom work with adapted assets to achieve high visual fidelity for hero shots.

Lighting passes to support mood, depth, and story across sequences, often working closely with layout and comp teams.

Look-developed layout of rock formations and organic assets using modified Megascans models, reworking base scans to feel otherworldly while maintaining realism.

Worked within production constraints to optimize assets for rendering pipelines while preserving cinematic detail.

This project demanded strong visual storytelling through environments, an eye for realism with a sci-fi twist, and close coordination with other departments to bring the world of The Mandalorian to life.
